Veerle Windels has been an enthusiastic fashion journalist for more than twenty years. She always goes for the story that takes place behind the scenes, for the person behind the product. She launched her first book in 2001 (Young Belgian Fashion) and wrote a monograph about fashion designer Tim van Steenbergen (Ludion, 2010). As a freelance journalist, she mainly writes for De Standaard and for international publications such as the Financieel Dagblad (Nl) and StyleZeitgeist (US).
Ine Verhaert, former CEO of Veritas and co-founder of the new brand ‘KAAI’, has a broad knowledge of the middle segment and omnichannel retail and specializes in fashion, lifestyle and creative. After a long career in sourcing, category management and branding for C & A, Marca, JBC and Veritas, she founded KAAI together with Helga Meersmans, a new bag brand for “women on the go”, which was launched in October 2018.
Charlotte Boone is a bio-engineer and specializes in gene technology. Since 2008 she is innovation manager at Flanders Food. She has a strong expertise in the field of sensory research on tastes and odors, sugar reduction and nutrigenomics. She coordinates the projects around personalized nutrition, prediction models on consumer preferences and exploration of alternatives to sugar.
Rob is a true entrepreneur and owner of Packaging Solutions, specialized in printed packaging films and supplier of transparent films for food and non-food. As Argonaut from the very beginning, Rob guided our learning journey “Total immersion in packaging” in which we searched for the packaging of the future, from design to packed product.
Prof. dr. Jan De Visch has years of experience in the field of human capital management, change management and turn-around projects. As Executive Professor Human Capital Management at the Flanders Business School (KULeuven), he works on accountability, performance management and talent development.
Ignace leads SmartWithFood, a spin-off of Colruyt Group with the ambition to facilitate better food choices for consumers. SmartWithFood develops the potential of personalized nutrition by offering digital platforms and services for retailers and nutritionists.
Carl Meers founded Indera 12 years ago as a spin-off of the furniture group Mecam from Dilsen-Stokkem. Since then he has traveled a wonderful course as an entrepreneur. A few years ago he created the furniture accessory brand Moome. Carl has a passion for design and knows the Milan design scene like no other.
Karen is currently innovation designer at Tomorrowlab. As the Innovation Manager of Wood.be she has guided the journey to Copenhagen around new business models in the furniture and interior sector. Karen has been following the trends in the furniture and textile industry for years with a special interest in business model innovation and sustainability.
Inge Bruynooghe is a commercial engineer and started her career in 2001 for Philips Lighting in China. Since then she has completed a long trail until she became CEO of the Philips branch in Turnhout in 2014. She has extensive experience with business transformations and lean and was involved in the cradle of Open Manufacturing Campus of which she is also a Director. Inge is a member of the board of directors of Agoria and Flanders Make.
Dr. Peter Willems has a passion for building high quality and affordable healthcare based on technology and is co-founder of Cubigo, a spin-off from Hasselt University. With his medical background, Peter generated reliable and valuable insights in the field of preventive health care. Peter is currently a transformation manager in health care and co-founder of Breinvriendelijk.
Tom Lefevere has years of experience as a UX consultant and Service Designer at Xerius and Pàu digital competence center. He has a passion for design thinking and believes in a thorough “user driven” approach. Each assignment begins with the context, objectives and expectations of the customer. A project can only succeed if the user and business objectives are fully in line.
Susanna Campogrande is innovation consultant and material expert at Wood.be and Design professor at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels (La Cambre). She continuously thinks about design with designers, industry and government and stood at the cradle of the first European material “innovation”. She is also interior architect at Arch & Types and product designer at Aller-Retour.
Stefan Schöning studied Product Development at the Henri Vandevelde Institute in Antwerp. His chair “folder” was released by his own label Polyline and was shown in the New York design museum, 100% design in London and Salone Satellite in Milan. Stefan designed the new identity for the design of the NMBS stations and in 2008 he was “designer of the year”.
Sara Telen is Learning & Development Manager at Antwerp Management School. Sara supports and links high potentials of the Master’s programs with companies that have to do with innovation, sustainability and management.
Since recently she is also program leader of the new International Masters in Fashion Management.
